I was heading to my work’s break-room this morning to rinse my water jug and cup when I saw this.
This sun reminds me of the sun I once saw in China. Too much pollution, it tells me. In truth, it’s that plus the smoke from all the wildfire out west.
Anyway, it’s Monday again and this Monday feels strange, if that’s the right word to describe it. It was dark when I woke up this morning and for a moment, I thought I set the wrong alarm but nevertheless, it was 6 AM.
My whole body ached as I sat up in bed. The part that hurt the most were my nails. I might have overworked myself yesterday, hoisting bags of soils into my car and then hoisting them over the high walls of my raised beds. What can I say? Garden soil was on sale. 2-cubic-feet of soil was a little over 3-dollars when the regular price was almost 10-dollars.
I have a L-shape raised bed in my backyard that needed to be filled and ended up swallowing 9 bags of garden soil (18-cubic-feet) plus 2 bags (2-cubic-feet) of compost. I have a feeling it needs more as there is a 2-inch lip at the moment.
Aside from that, I also assembled my 7-tier vertical tower and will be transferring my strawberry plants there hopefully tonight. I also planted my fall-crops – Baby Bok Choy, Chinese Broccoli, and snow peas. I hope they germinate. Crossing fingers.
Wow!
What a perfect capture!
If only the crane’s hook was little down further, towards the sun.
Hope that your plants grow up nicely 🙂

This building has been moving a little upward each time I head into the office. While it’s great to see the progress, I just hope it won’t block the sun when it’s finished.
