“That’s it!” Grinding his teeth, he hurled his creation to the ground and stomped on it until it was unrecognizable. Then he jabbed a finger at his sister, “I don’t want to hear a peep from you.”

Flabbergasted, she stuttered, “W-what did I say?”

“W-what did I say?” He mimicked. “You. Are. The spokesperson of discouragement. Every time I complete a creation, you put it down, put me down. Laugh at me, say it’ll never work. No one can succeed around you. No one!”

As he stalked away, she stood there, speechless as she stared at her brother’s mangled creation.
