Well, I guess I can always jab people with it but then people might stare and look at me like a freak. Unless…that horn comes with super magical powers? Otherwise, it will just be this thing on top of my head and honestly, I’m seeing more disadvantages here than advantages.

I wrote about this in yesterday’s post – people borrowing my stuff for an extending length of time, return it before borrowing it again. Some say that’s silly or petty but to me, it’s seriously upsetting because if you borrow my stuff, then what am I supposed to use when I need it?

How comfortable are you with meeting others who are very different from yourself? (no judgment implied. Different in any way you’d like to think about – different cultures, different races, different mind set (opinions)?
To be honest, I’m uncomfortable meeting new people PERIOD. I’m an introvert with the world’s rarest personality type (INFJ) according to a personality I took. It doesn’t matter whether we are alike or the different. It take me a while before I’m comfortable with an individual.
When I meet someone new, my brain will do a scan to get a sense of the other person’s personality, behavior, and the like. When my brain deems it’s safe, then I’ll proceed. Like I’ve mentioned before, I have a knack for this thing.

Thank you for Sharing Your World Yinglan! What do you know? We have the same introvert ‘type’. I guess that means we’re extra awesome, because it is so rare. 🙂 I don’t think someone who borrows something and then never returns it or has to be pestered to give it back to its owner, is a petty or insignificant peeve at all. I think that’s just plain bad manners on their part and would motivate me to never lend them anything again. If they come in your personal space and just take stuff. I’d make it hard for them to find after the first time. That’s rude too, to just assume that it’s okay to take anything that’s there just because they want it. 😦 Have a great weekend!

The worst part is I would try to hide my tools and they’d come over and find it anyway. I blame my mom for telling them something equivalent to “mi casa su casa” from the get-go which it’s bad manner of her since she lives in my house, not her house, despite all the debts I seem to owe everyone. 😒

As someone who’s very protective of MY STUFF, I don’t like anyone borrowing any of it in the first place. But a repeat borrower…. no way. Go get your own! I’m this way with the equipment at work too, which isn’t technically mine, but there are others you can use…. GET YOUR OWN!
