Which traditional Valentine’s Day gift would you rather receive: chocolates, flowers, or a card with a personal message?
In my practical frame of mind, I am thinking chocolates because I can always dispose them into my stomach but a card with a personal message is very sweet but it will eventually add to a pile of junk as I wouldn’t know how to get rid of it.
Do you like romantic movies?
The funny ones are okay. I can only do the sappy ones if it’s very good. I like to listen to contemporary romance also known as rom-com in my opinion especially during sad times because they cheer me up and make me laugh.
Is Valentine’s Day only about romantic love? Or is it a good occasion to celebrate friendship as well?
I think V-day is mostly about romantic love. Every day is a good day to celebrate friendship, unless you became friends on Valentine’s day, then it is a day for celebration.
How do you deal with unwanted romantic attention?
There were several occasions when I had to deal with that in school and I would call that bullying. I dealt with it by ignoring the kid and reminded myself I will be graduating soon and be rid of this place while he will stay behind since I was a grade above this kid. Eventually, he got bored and stopped.
Thanks Yinglan for Sharing Your World! That kid in your school sounds like a creep actually. Sometimes those sort of people (either gender) can be stalkers, and that’s a whole ‘nother problem. I’m glad it was resolved. Chocolate is always great! Cards, unless one is sentimental or it’s from someone very special, do add to clutter, and it’s best to just recycle them after shredding them I think. I’ve heard two or three bloggers mention the cost of those things now and I fear I chose the wrong profession when I was working. I could be making greeting cards and getting rich! 😄 I hope you had a nice serene day and you have a great week going forward!
