Do You Prefer Salty Foods or Sweet Foods?
If you had asked me this question 3 years ago, I would’ve said sweet foods but I have been somewhat reformed (in a manner of speaking) since then and now, I prefer salty foods.
Would you rather be in a place where it is excessively hot or excessively cold?
Neither. I was born in a place that’s excessively hot and humid and I am currently live in a place that’s excessively cold, exactly the opposite of the place I grew up. I prefer somewhere in between, which is hard to find these days.
I previously lived in Los Angeles for 4 years and thought the climate was rather pleasant but it was not the climate I encountered when I visited the same place a few years – it was hot and mucky. What happened to perfect weather California?
Favorite Mode of long distance travel (Bus, Plane, Train, Automobile, or other).
Unless the long distance travel involve crossing a large body of water like an ocean, I prefer to drive. That way, it will save me the time of pack meticulously (to make sure the under the specified weight), it will save me the time to take off my shoes, pull my laptop out of my bag, and neatly placing everything in buckets while I take a trip through the body scanner to make sure I’m not carrying anything dangerous.
To be honest, I don’t mind flying, it’s the planning, the hurrying through the airport, and the TSA part that I hate about air travel. Besides, I can definitely see more places and be safer in a car.
What was your favorite holiday growing up? (You can also use american holidays or appropriate holidays from your country)
Before coming to the United States, my favorite holiday growing up was Lunar New Year. It was the time when my savings grew and everywhere I went, people was handing out money because I was a child.
After coming to the United States, for a while, it was Christmas because of the family gatherings, special foods that we don’t really eat any other time of the year, and the presents. Who can forget about the presents?
Sly is def better for your health haha

I like Eid for this reason too. People handing out money and gifts.

Great Share Your World Yinglan! I too prefer the more temperate sort of climate, but finding such a place, is, as you said, extremely tough any more. We’ve changed things with all the pollution and ignorance current society seems to embrace (IMO). And that’s what happened to the perfect California weather. We did (well not me nor you specifically) – mankind destroyed it with the horrible smog and the immense population. It’s horrifying to me. Have a great week! 🙂
