“Stop, stop, STOP!” I shout as the car screech to a halt. This day has been a nightmare and oh how I wish it’d end.
“What now?” My aunt asks.
Pinching the bridge of my nose, I shut my eyes and shake my head. When we decided on this trip, I shouldn’t had promised her I let her drive the Quebec leg of the trip, especially when she can barely read road signs. I may not know French but at least I know a Stop sign when I see one.
Inhaling and exhaling three quick breaths, I sigh, “Just go.”

Yes, sometimes being the passenger is stressful. Better off driving.

Well done. Answer of a patient passenger about to get impatient.

Having missed a sign or two myself, I feel a bit of sympathy. 🙂

Going through a stop sign accidentally is stressful, both as a passenger and driver. Good story.

Thank you. I agree. It happened a few times and in my opinion, that’s a few too many.
