How much thought you give to your post title?
Coming up with a title for my post is hard work sometimes while at times, it comes so easily. I don’t know why that is. I think it’s one of the many reasons I enjoy participating in writing prompts as I don’t have to think hard on the title.
As I was writing this post, I remember there’s a post I wrote an eternity ago in 2014 about this very topic. I wrote random informative posts back then as I was still trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my blog. It took me a long time to come up with a title for this post I wrote in 2014 and now that I’m looking at this post again, it sounds a bit cheesy.
What compelled me to write that post?

Anyway, the post title is important because it’s the first thing a reader look at and it should give the reader a general idea of what the post is about. From my experience of a blogger of almost a decade, a post with a good title sometimes means a greater number of views and comments. Not always, but I found that’s about 8 times out of 10 true for me.
This is Another Story 
I have played with key words which are supposed to tell readers what it’s about. I found new followers came by way of daft key words not related except metaphorically. Once you hook me, I will read your post regularly. Sometimes I can’t because I have events that take my time. And I am happy with my regular crew. I love getting to know you and you me. Blog on. Love to your mother., ❤️

I have played with keywords too but in the recent years, I’ve grown lazy and been stuck with the few I find that are pretty good at attracting readers.

First, not being able to reach your site was my problem. Firefox prevents pop ups. I changed that. Even though headlines matter, it takes tags to find you.

That makes me feel better and I agree, tags are important, too. It’s unfortunate WP only allows 15 tags but sometimes, I think that’s enough.

That’s not WordPress. That’s Google. Anything over 15 takes is discarded by their search engines.

A post title, can be all sort of things. It’s like a box in the garage, if I label it correctly, I know what’s in it, if not. Oh, well…don’t get me started.
