Do you give credit to the blogger who inspired your post?
Yes, I do. After all, it’s proper etiquette as I saw Sadje mention in a comment on another blog. Though a lot of my posts, especially the fictional ones are inspired by a mixed of either real life events or movies and TV shows I watch, if something is inspired by another blogger’s post, I will be sure to mention it.
Not only is it proper etiquette, in my opinion, by giving the blogger who inspired your post a mention, you might just help that blogger build his/her audience. I had that happen to me a few times and I am grateful for the traffic and the few blogger friends I got to meet through the process.
So be nice, be polite, and give credit to where or whom the credit is due.
