It’s been a snowy and wet winter. Those sunny days have been coming quick and short – usually just one or two per week. I’ve been full advantage of those days by heading to the park with music playing non-stop through my wireless earbuds.
I took this picture on a recent walk around the park. I thought it kind of looked like water washing ashore before receding back into the ocean. I didn’t even notice the paw prints until I looked at the photo on my phone. It’s a nice extra, I guess.
Of all the years I’ve lived in this neighborhood, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone snowboard at the neighborhood park but there they were – kids and adults alike – sliding around on their snowboards and I’m talking about the boards that are usually used at ski resorts, not this teeny tiny hill in the park.
Finally, I just want to take a moment to admire the view on a nice day. Does blue and white make a great color combination?
Though this is really chilling for me but these captures are really wonderful 🙂

Thank you. 😊 It does feel pretty cold.

Truly stunning snowscape you have here, Yinglan! In your first image, I thought it was an image of waves foaming onto a lava rock, but then I saw the paw prints and your text! Cool shot! Sounds like the neighborhood is enjoying the snow!
