Do you prefer a sofa (aka couch, settee) or an armchair to relax in?
I prefer something like a recliner, which I can lie down as well as sit. I can’t really sit in a normal chair for long these days due to knee pain. My legs like to be straight instead of bent at an angle. At work, I have to stand up every 30 minutes or so to stretch my legs before the pain comes. Thankfully, my work meetings nowadays are normally conducted over Microsoft Teams and without the need to turn on my camera, it won’t matter whether I’m sitting or standing.
Do you prefer to sit at a table to eat your meals, or on a tray?
As long as I don’t have to balance plates or bowls on my lap, I can eat any way but really, I do prefer to eat at a table.
Do you enjoy a glass of wine with your main meal?
I don’t drink wine nor do I even have wine in the house. Mom’s allergic to alcohol and whenever mom can’t have something, I can’t either.
How do you like your chips (aka fries), with salt, sauce, mayo or something else?
Typically, I like my fries with salt but if I’m feeling saucy, I’ll have my fries with salt and fries sauce – a sauce invented in Utah and it’s made from mayo and ketchup.

I used to make a mayo, mustard and ketchup sauce for my prawn cocktails. Now I just have mayo on my chips, but having those is few and far between now.
Thanks for joining in this week.

Me, too. I can’t really have any fried things now as it causes almost instant inflammation in my body.

I haven’t ‘fried’ anything other than the occasional egg for years. If I’m cooking meat such as chops, sausages or chicken breasts in a frying pan, I add water rather than fat. We got rid of our deep fat fryer over 20 years ago.

Fry sauce? That sounds intriguing.

Yeah, it’s a delicious sauce that’s only available in the intermountain west. 😀
