Picking up on last week’s story...

“What do you mean, I have so much to learn?” With a snap of his fingers, everything around them dissolved as a new scene emerged a moment later. “What happened? How did you do that?”

“What if I told you I may look like your brother but I’m not your brother. In fact, I’m the farthest thing from human.”

“Then who a-are y-you?” Her lips quivered and realized they were standing in a graveyard.

The corner of his mouth twisted it up in a sly grin, “Let’s just say I’m your only companion and your worst nightmare in this hellhole. But I thought before we get back to our fun, I would show you the reality that has been bestowed upon you. Treat it as a dose of reality.”

They have stopped walking and were now standing before a headstone. Slowly, her eyes traveled downward and she gasped. “No no no…this can’t be real. I can’t be…”

“Oh, I’m afraid so, my dear pet.”
