Do you have carpets, rugs, laminating flooring, tiles, or wooden floors (or something else) in your property

I have laminated floors throughout the kitchen and living room and carpet elsewhere, except the bathrooms, which have cheap vinyl tiles installed. The only bathroom with real tile installed is the basement bathroom. It’s funny when mom’s friends and relatives in China ask why the entire house isn’t tiled and mom’s answer to them was, “because we actually have a winter here. It snows and freezing cold.”

Do you have a bathtub and separate shower, or a combination of the two?

There are 2 bathtubs and a shower in the house. The bathtubs are in the master bedroom and my bathroom, and before you ask, no I don’t get the right to claim the master of the house despite I do pay the bills. *sigh

What is your favorite room of the house, and why?

I’m not sure I have a favorite room in the house. My favorite area in the house remains outside in the garden, where I have the most fun.

How many televisions do you have?

There are 2 TVs in the house. One resides in the master’s bedroom (mom’s bedroom) and the other one is in the family room. The one in mom’s bedroom has probably not been used in 2 years. It’s just sitting there collecting dust, it seems, as mom doesn’t even seem to know how to operate the darn thing.

I should just leave her for a week and see how she does in the house since she relies on me so much on the operation of appliances around the house. I once had to talk her through on how to watch TV despite teaching her many times on how to operate the remote.
