What is your favorite song or artist beginning with the letter D?

What a strange question this is! I got a new phone recently and though I managed to get everything transfer over, the only thing that could not come over was the music I downloaded for offline playing. So I had to go through all the songs in the entire playlist and download the ones I liked enough to listen in the car.

I am not going to choose a favorite artist that begins with the letter D because honestly, there isn’t anyone out there whose music I will like entirely. These days, I tend to only like a few songs by each artist. So this question made me to scroll through the list of letter D songs in my downloaded playlist and guess what? There are too many to pick and I can’t pick one.

When was the last time you visited a church?

Do you mean a church service or a church in general? If you mean a church service, then that would probably be early 2020 before the start of the pandemic.

If you mean a church in general, then earlier this year when I visited St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh, Scotland.

If you celebrate Christmas, when do you put your decorations up? If not, do you decorate your home for other traditional occasions?

I feel like we have stopped “celebrating” anything in recent years. I haven’t felt any holiday spirit in years and it seems like holiday spirits has been going away more and more in the recent years. Do you feel that, too?

If I am putting my holiday decorations up, I would’ve put them up over the Thanksgiving weekend (end of November) but I haven’t put them up in the last 2 years. With mom skulking in the background, I don’t have the energy to deal with that and feel the holiday cheer. I don’t know about you but I must be in a certain level of holiday cheerfulness to decorate for the holiday.

Do you like a glass of wine with your main meal of the day?

Ha! I wish. When I was seeing a therapist, he asked if I drank. I answered, “Wouldn’t that be nice, having something to numb the stuff I’m feeling.”

My mom happens to be allergic to alcohol, even if it’s cough syrup. So having any kind alcohol in the house is out of the question. The only thing in the house that contains any alcohol is my mouth wash and I’m not about to drink that.
