#WeekendCoffeeShare – Life’s little Peeves and Joys

Good morning! Welcome, please help yourself to a cup of hot or cold beverage and join me for a quick chat.

If we were having coffee, I would ask, “Wouldn’t it be nice if, for once, everything just worked as it should?”

If that was possible, I would not be in so much extra distress. I’m writing this on my phone, so bear with me.

I haven’t been able to access my WordPress dashboard from either of my laptops for the last three days. The only way I can access my blogs and write posts has been through my phone, which I’m not used to…

I’ve cleared the cache, cookies, and browser history 3 times and no difference. I know what you’re thinking, that it might be my internet but how come I can access every site except WordPress? I’ve been able to work at home normally and stream videos.

I think it’s the site server that enables us to access our dashboards because that’s what I haven’t been able to access, not the site itself.

I’ve even contacted the so-called “Happiness engineers” and their answer was either I have internet issues or I need to upgrade my plan. No, I’m not going to upgrade.

Anyway, let’s hope it’s resolved soon and I can get back to typing on a physical keyboard.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you I had a pink pancake breakfast at work on Valentine’s Day. I had to refill my plate after finishing this plate of pancake, whipped cream, strawberries, banana, and yogurt. I suppose that’s what I get for having my mom rouse me awake at 6:30 that morning and we went to the office without eating anything.

After untethering myself from my mom, I placed my first 2024 Starbucks order through the app for a Venti cup of Royal English Tea latte. It was the first time I grabbed Starbucks since my Christmas road trip. Therefore, this makes it my first cup of Starbucks in 2024.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you I have started a new crochet project. I’m trying something new – mosaic crochet. What do you think? It’s a bunch of arrows against a green background. This is one of the many strips I’m going to use to put together a blanket.

Finally, if we were having coffee, I would have told you I’m going eagle-spotting today but as I’m writing this, it’s looking less likely. It’s been raining most of the week and my mom doesn’t want to drive on muddy roads. I also feel she didn’t want to go after I told her she’d need a binocular to see the eagle.

Meanwhile, I have a camera lens that should be long enough to photograph the majestic bird. Besides, I’m not certain I want to stay home for one more minute with all the noise.

#weekendcoffeeshare is hosted by Natalie of Natalie the Explorer. I appreciate you stopping by. Until next we chat. 🙂

    1. I was able to write a post on my laptop yesterday but couldn’t access my media library, so I guess I will have to use both my phone and laptop for blogging for me. I think I just need to get used to the tiny screen of my phone.

  1. Blogging from my phone is too difficult. I like to spread my fingers out on a keyboard and it’s easier for me to see errors on a larger screen before posting so I definitely feel your pain, Yinglan.

Yeah, the “Happiness Engineers”. Good luck!

    1. I’ve been posting from my phone for the last few days. It’s definitely challenging but I’m making it work with a bluetooth keyboard, which makes typing posts a lot quicker.
