How many times have you been a patient in hospital? How long were you in for?

I have never been a long-term patient in a hospital. The longest I’ve ever spent in a hospital was overnight because I had a bad seizure about 20 years ago. My parents called 911 but by the time the ambulance came, I woke up but I had to spend the night in the ER. All the other times in a hospital, I was an outpatient, usually for a surgery.

Did you notice any differences with your experiences?

It’s definitely different. The outpatient stays were quick as they wanted to get me in and out as quick as possible while the overnight stay involved an IV drip of some kind.

On a scale of  1 to 5, with 5 being good and 1 being poor, how would you rate food choices, and separately on the same scale, quality?

I wouldn’t know anything in this area as I never had any food during any of my stays. Those most I had was a cup of juice.
