M is for Mindful.
I do not mean mindfulness in a meditation way, although that is very much similar in a sense. I mean in a “pay attention to your surrounding” kind of mindful, and yes, I do treat it as an emotion because external factors can affect our emotions.
Being empathetic, I am very mindful of my surroundings. I am mindful of how my behaviors and emotions affect others and how others’ behaviors and moods affect my moods and behaviors. Unfortunately, I live with some of the un-mindful people in the universe. If they were mindful of the times I told them to turn the volume down, they wouldn’t still be blasting YouTube all night long.

Their attitude has aggravated your issues about getting time to be yourself. I do hope they somehow realize this.

I know the feeling. Noise-cancelling headphones — and earplugs — work a wonder.
