Y is for Yearning
I’ve been yearning to explore ever since my last road trip ended. There are so many places I’ve never been and it’s calling for my attention. The thing that frustrates me a lot is that others (i.e. my mom and family) look at my small stature and think I’m not able and should not go on adventure no matter how close or far without supervision.
My problem with supervision is one, I don’t get to go at my pace, which is slower than those without a photography hobby, and two, there’s always limitations because the person coming on the trip either has to use the restroom in the middle of nowhere or is hungry and must eat.
I don’t mind traveling with a partner but it must be someone who’s able and not so needy.

Being assertive won’t make you popular, but it will give you what you want. That’s my two cents, as someone who also is small of stature and have people constantly being over-protective.
