#AtoZChallenge 2024 Reflection

Phew! That was a month full of emotion exploration.

I often thought emotions are just happy, sad, angry, you know, the basic ones but there are so many others tiny emotions that were mixed in. I started the challenge with a simple emotion – anger – one that I feel like it’s dominated me for last while.

I’ve been finding ways to release that anger that’s steaming inside of me, which I believe it’s the result of my restrictedly free life. It’s frustrating when one is not “allowed” to go out or has to wait until the day to go into the office to buy the thing I need. The best way to release that anger, I’ve found is through things like blogging and axe throwing. If I have the chance to throw darts, I would.

The month ended with Zealous. It wasn’t the first time I’ve used this word because let’s face it, there aren’t many emotional words that starts with the letter Z. According to the dictionary, zealous is the showing of great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or objective.

As I’ve mentioned in the post, I am quite zealous when it comes to going after something. I remember not able to sleep last year because my brain was imagining what the garden would look like once I finished laying the bricks and constructing the raised beds. I probably did impulse bought 30-something cinder blocks think I’d construct two garden beds from cinder blocks.

Over all, I thought the A-Z challenge went well this year. I think it was good that I didn’t procrastinate and completed an entire week of posts within 1-2 nights. It helped me to stay on top of things so I wouldn’t panic to write those posts at the last minute. I feel this challenge is really a test of my time managment skills and if I focus, I can get it done.

  1. You’ve done the overview already and so well too! Great job with the challenge. I also used to do one weeks worth of posts in one day and then it went smoothly.

  2. Congratulations. I imagine the emotion that most of us felt on completion of the challenge was relief. I’m impressed you banged out your your posts in a couple of days. Good job.
