Have you ever wanted to design your own home?

Yes, since I was little girl I wanted to design my own house although my custom home looked like a penthouse apartment than an actual house.

Have you designed anything specifically for you or your family?

I actually designed the basement bathroom in my old house – the house next door where my mom’s brother and SIL are currently residing. I was studying to be a civil engineer and got a free copy of CAD when I enrolled in the course. I printed out the design and showed it to the contractor. He was impressed by my design.

Aside from that, I designed a crochet blanket, a couple of pillows, and a teddy bear, though my work came out a little awry.

Does anyone in your family have ‘artistic qualities? (ie. painter/artist, sculptor, landscape gardener etc).

Sometimes, I feel like Anne Shirley living with the Cuthberts, everyone around me seem to focus on reality. No one has any imagination around here. Even though I can’t draw or paint even if my life depends on it, I can paint with words with my imagination and I can be pretty artistic when it comes to editing photos.

When it comes to property or buildings, do you prefer a modern design or a more traditional approach?

I like a mix of both modern and traditional because just like anything else, I think everything must balance.
