Do you believe in Love at First Sight?

Yes, I do believe in Love at First Sight. It’s the easiest decision in one’s lifetime because we are all halves of a whole and when we meet “the one”, we just know it because it will be like a two pieces of a puzzle dying to be together again. I’m still waiting for that moment to arrive, although I also know that for some people, it will never arrive. Perhaps “someone” had a sense of humor when he created this universe that there are some missing piece in the puzzle.

Do you live alone or do you have a pet for company?

Ha! I wish I live alone.

Unfortunately, I don’t.

Speaking of which, my mom is having her big surgery this week. The other night, she said, “I’m requesting you to go into the office on Wednesday this week so you can take me to the hospital.”

Requesting? I thought. Why would I go into the office on Wednesday? Ever since I no longer have to sort and handle the mail, my day in the office is just me sitting at my computer. I go into the office now just purely for social reasons and if there’s no one there on Wednesday, why would I go in? It looked like my mom is trying to control me once again.

“No,” I told her, “I will go into the office on Tuesday, as scheduled.”

I’m going to see a soccer game on Wednesday after work, I’m guessing she just didn’t want me drive as much but the thing is, the game’s at 7:30 PM, and I wasn’t about to go wander about Salt Lake City for 4 hours.

See? This kind of thing just doesn’t happen if I live alone.
