Happy Sunday! This week, for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #329, marks the final Lens-Artists Challenge of 2024, thus it’s the last chance to showcase any photos that didn’t make it into the photo challenges of 2024.

According to my Lightroom library, I took only half as many pictures as I did in 2023. I believe that’s because I had a total of 3 large trips in 2023 and none in 2024. I will start with a gallery of flowers.
The garden definitely took center stage in 2024 and I feel like with my mom gone for 3 weeks at the height of summer, I really managed to get many of the garden projects done. With projects in progress, I didn’t get to editing a lot of the photos until late summer and haven’t had a chance to post them. So I thought why not.

I always make it a point to see at least one Christmas light show each year. 2023 was Luminaria – Utah’s largest Christmas Light display. Since opportunities to head out and stay out for a little while longer are rare these days, I decided to give my mom the excuse that I would be home a little later than usual.
The annual company Christmas party was that very day so I didn’t need my mom cooking my portion of dinner. I decided to visit the mall across the street from my work. There wasn’t much that stood out to me since this was not my first visit to this mall during Christmas. Prior to the pandemic, when my mom and I still had to go into the office everyday, this mall was our gym. We would do lap around the mall each afternoon.
There weren’t many changes around this mall other than the occasional shops closing and re-opening under new management.
My favorite parts were the music fountain and window displays outside Macy’s.

Finally, I have included some of my favorite shots from 2024 that never made it into a Lens-Artists Challenge.
That’s all for 2024, see you in 2025!

Beautiful photos Yinglan.
