Do you prefer your home painted in neutral colors with pictures or furnishings to add warmth and character?
As opposed to my mom, I like to furnish my home with hanging pictures and decent furniture. Even though I’ve moved into my current home in 2017, it’s remained sparsely furnished with mostly second-hand furniture. I even had to give a thorough explanation of why I need to make one of my photos into a canvas prints. Um…because I want to hang it in my house?
Do you prefer wooden/tiled floors or carpets and rugs?
I like a mix of floors but since I live in a place where it’s cold almost 6 months out of the year, I prefer carpet over hard floors especially in my bedroom. Hard floors can be pretty cold in the winter and it can be a pain to clean.
Do you have an outside patio, balcony, or decking?
I have an outside patio where I place my tower planters. The previous owner left me a grill but my mom put that on the curbside 2 summers ago when it was no longer usable. I think we used it once?
Do you prefer a traditional bathroom with bath/shower or a wet room?
I’ve only ever had a traditional bathroom so I don’t have experience with a wet room. I do wish for a bigger bathroom though. Right now, the counter space is very limited and my aunt has chosen to put everything into plastic boxes which restricted the space even further.
