When Stacy’s mom was admitted to the hospital for the last time, Stacy had promised to maintain the garden until her mom’s return, never did she know her mom would never return to her precious garden. Since her mom’s passing, Stacy had vowed to return to her mom’s garden but one year passed, then two, then five years passed and Stacy still didn’t return as she didn’t want to face reliving her mom’s final day in her garden.
Now, a decade later, she finally found the courage to make the drive. “It’s now or never. Time to face the music.”
(100 words)

I really wonder what the garden will look like now – all these years later?

I wonder about that, too. What sort of jungle are we looking at?

Well better late than never but she’s going to be facing a jungle as well as her own guilt – good take 🙌

Is Stacy just going for a visit or is she planning on bringing the garden back up to Mom’s standards?

i suppose it was time for closure regarding her mom’s passing, a moment to reflect, grieve, and finally begin to heal from the loss she has carried for so long.
