Friday Fictioneers: The Room

Jason was walking down the hall, searching for the bathroom behind one of the closed doors in his future-mother-in-law’s house. Turning the knobs, he discovered all the doors were locked. Why, he wondered when he finally found a door that opened.

The second he stumbled into the room, he could hear high-pitched violin music playing as he came face-to-face with a shelf full of dollheads. Immediately, he backed out of the room and shut the door. Forget the bathroom, he thought as his fiancee, Tiffany, approached. “What’s wrong?”

“What’s wrong?” Jason opened the door, Tiffany bursted into fits of laughter.
