I live in a suburban area about 30 minutes from the city center. For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of working in the city and when I landed my current job in 2018, I felt like my dream has finally come true.
Before the pandemic, I was taking public transit to work daily but since the pandemic, I have been making weekly trips to the city but one thing I’ve come to dislike is driving within the city limit. It’s scary compare to driving in the suburbs. I’m so glad it’s a weekly thing and not a daily thing.

What a beautiful shot of your city at sunrise, Yinglan. I never liked driving in most downtown areas myself, so I totally get it! If public transportation works for you then that should be helpful when it happens.
