Surprise! This was the kitchen drawer from two summers ago, Summer of 2014. Messy, huh? Although I have managed to clean it up a bit since then, it’s about the same level of messiness. It’s not my fault that the drawers are so messy. There are no organizers for the drawers and therefore, we just throw in whatever. I’ve tried to clean out some of the expired coupons and reorganize everything once in a while but a week later, when a new issue of coupons arrive in the mail, this drawer will be back exactly the way it was.

Welcome to the second drawer, home of plastic bags, used for who knows what. I’ll bet that invitation to our neighbor’s kid’s graduation is still there right now.

Finally, a change of topics: Doors! This picture was at the end of 2015 when we were invited to many Christmas parties. This was one of them on a military base.
