
I took this picture yesterday afternoon in my backyard. I have been meaning to snap a few more pictures of the autumn landscape but it’s been rainy and gloomy. The sun finally came out yesterday and it gave me a chance to step out. This is a leaf from the Asian Pear tree. We didn’t get a large harvest from this tree this year. Or did we and my mom just ate it all?
Anyway, it looks like this leaf is in the middle of a color transformation from green to red and I like that so many colors are showing in this transformation.

I love the burgundy in the green…great shot!! I laughed out loud when you wondered if perhaps your mother ate all the pears…hehe…that was funny!! 🙂

Haha, I do sometimes wonder if she ate it while she was watering the trees because that’s how she ate all the blackberries from the bushes. 😀
