Fibbing Friday: January 8th, 2021

Another fun challenge I thought I’d give it a try: Fibbing Friday. I know, I’m a day late. Whatever. You may think telling a lie is easy but I actually found it quite hard. I hope you enjoy my answers.

What event triggered the start of the U.S. Civil War?

A trigger-happy A-hole shot somebody and shouted, “Let’s start a war!”

He was arrested where he weirdly admitted he shot somebody. None of the sheriffs believed him though. They all thought he was loony. A few days later, he appeared in court where he once again admitted he shot the guy on purpose. “I wanna start a war.” He spoke in a childish voice.

Again, no one believed him. “What a Loony.” Someone muttered.

“Hey, who are you calling a loony?” the guy next to that guy shouted and all at once, the courtroom erupted in chaotic shouting. Dudes were fighting each other over no reason at all. Meanwhile, the trigger-happy A-hole quietly made his way out of the courthouse where he shouted, “Let’s start a war!”

“Hey, what is this guy talking about?” A passerby said.

“What are you talking about?” Another said and all of the sudden, as if the world has gone mad, everyone on the street started fighting and town by town, shouts erupted and people started to jab each other with knives and bayonets. Historians would later learn the trigger-happy A-hole was actually the mythical Horseman of War and he caused the U.S Civilian War otherwise known as the U.S Civil War for short.
