Friday Fictioneers: Just Another Legend


“You will never get away with this. You will suffer. Your children will suffer. So will your children’s children, so forth.” Though she was chained behind a cement wall, her voice could be heard for miles as the group of men sank the metal gate into wet cement.

Over the days and months, passerby swore they could hear her voice echoing in their minds. Before long, the voice faded and she became another legend – the infamous vampire witch that slayed an entire village.

The plant on the stoop grew over time. Many believes it’s there to protect them. Who knows.
