Trying to my best to block out the noise, I adjusted the settings on my camera. Of the entire botanical garden, these were the best-looking tulips. I must get a picture of them.
That’s it, perfect.
Just as I pressed the shutter button, there came a howl of laughter, knocking me and my picture out of focus. I bellowed, “What’s the matter with you?”

I have been around people who always need to fill silence with verbal noise without realizing that sometimes the quiet is necessary.
