My OneDrive has let me know that I was in Chicago 10 years ago this week. I went there as a group led by the accounting department chair at the university I was studying back then. There were less than ten of us, so the experience was quite unique.
One of the places I visited was Soldier Field and had a chance to tour the inside of the stadium. It was one of the coolest tours I’ve ever been on as I got to see places not many people gets to see like player’s locker rooms and special viewing boxes where the cost for the seats was an amount that made my eyes pop out of my head. I even got to get down to the field and walk around the fake grass.
When I visited the UK over two years ago, I had the opportunity of visiting the British Museum not once but twice. The second time was because my mom wanted to see the China exhibit, which wasn’t available during our first visit, and we just so happened had no plans for the day. It was the day before we would head home.
Finally, let’s head to Philadelphia to the Independent Hall, which I visited in the fall of 2022. I took this photo from across the lawn using a zoom lens. I must say, it stands out, even with the buildings in the background. A guided tour is necessary to go in, which I found quite disappointing because the tour only featured one room. My mom and I were in and out in about 30 minutes.

All great choices for the prompt. I’ve known that kind of brief-visit disappointment in the past. Sometimes you wish the buildings were more open to exploration. Stadium tours are fun. It’s amazing to see what goes on behind the scenes.

Thank you. That was the only stadium I’ve ever tour in such an in-depth manner. It was fun.
