CFFC: Informational Signs

Another gallery of random snapshots from years past. I will begin in the top left and work my way down counter-clockwise. I hope you enjoy this gallery and have a happy hump day.

  • I took this picture when I visited Los Alamos, New Mexico last summer. I don’t remember why I took a picture of the old wooden sign. There was a newer version of this sign nearby but it didn’t look nearly as cool as this one.
  • I must had taken this at a trail head. The sign that piqued my interest must had been the sign that states everyone must yield to those on horseback. I’ve hiked this trail maybe a couple of times and I’ve seen more bicycles than horses.
  • Here’s another fork (or several forks) in the trail. This trail was difficult to follow especially for me as those were the days before Alltrails, smart phones, and GPS. I remember heading toward the Indian Trail and had to ask the first passerby to make sure I was going the right way.
  • Another trail. I am not sure whether I want to be on a horseback for this one. I remember this trail and it got quite narrow at times.
  • Here’s a very graffitied sign at the top of the mountain. I am not good at this sort of thing – making out faraway mountains based on a sign.
  • A sign taken when I visited a museum in my hometown of Zhongshan. Very informational, I did not know that about my hometown.
  • Finally, a directional sign in Keystone, South Dakota. That was a fun road trip to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.
