Share Your World – Week of March 22, 2021
If not now, then when?
If not now, then when?
Residing the intermountain region of the United States, I’m pretty much landlocked. My typical sceneries are mountains, mountains, and more mountains.
Today, March 19, 2021, marks one year since I’ve begun working from home and I must say, things sometimes get very interesting working from home like I would sometimes notice things happening outside I don’t normally notice.
It’s been a while since I participated in this challenge. This week’s theme is All About the Scenery and I came up with these two photos which are sort of a continuation from this post as both were taken during my solo trip to Capital Reef National Park in 2018.
After a 6 weeks hiatus, Blogging insights – hosted by Tanya at Salted Caramel – is back and she asks:
How well do you know your next-door neighbors? Do you like them? (credit to Cyranny for the question)
A few weeks back, I won the grand prize at a prize drawing at work. I was honestly shocked when the HR department contacted me. I did not expect I’d win, let alone read the announcement that listed the grand prize.
I’ve had many special moments over the years. Most of them are of moments of solitude from watching the sunset on an island to completing solo hikes to catching a glimpse of autumn colors at its peak. It’s tough to have moments of peace and quiet with a family that can turn even the happiest…
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge
If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be for? (Covid considerations are suspended for this question)
After a sucky and busy 2020, which caused me to miss the AtoZ Challenge, I am determined to make a come back in 2021 with a theme that had been circulating in my head since I finished the challenge in 2019. Before I reveal the theme for my 5th participation in this challenge, let have…
Weekly Prompts Color Challenge – Purple
I love the topic of Natural Light because landscape photography is absolutely dependent on it, at least, in my opinion.
I had my monthly one-on-one with my supervisor this week. It went well. I told her the things I am currently working on. She was pleased with my speed at completing the tasks needed to close out the month (financially speaking). I also told her about the one-on-one with Mr. CFO the week before. “We…
Is every piece of truth worth telling? (credit to the magnificent Cyranny for this one)
I feel so conflicted at times when someone reminds me that I’m a grown woman and don’t need permission from anyone to leave the house or go do the things I like, except somehow I do.
To me, the word soft can mean so many things – fluffy as in furs or feathers, delicate, and in photography, soft-focus, meaning the texture has been taken out of the photographs. This week, I hope these old photos can convey the meaning of soft.
I have a problem with people meddling into people’s lives. Isn’t there a saying – “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”? I think this applies to meddling as well. According to my personal experience and all those movies and TV shows I’ve watched over the year, I don’t think there’s ever been a scenario…
Have you ever ‘butt dialed” someone? (‘butt dialed’ means have you ever made a phone call that you weren’t aware of making, because the buttons on the phone got pushed by your sitting on them (in your pocket) OR having something in your handbag press against them?)
This prompt word for this week’s Weekly Prompts Weekend Challenge is Divorce. For the past few weeks, I have been dealing with something that has something with my mom’s divorce from my step-dad. It’s been weighing on me and I’m hoping to talk to someone about this. Alas, there’s literally no one I can talk…
This week, for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #136, we are challenged to find a photo that contains a subject which begins with the letter S. I decided to get creative with this photo. Hope you like it.
Do you feel you ask enough questions or do you settle for what you know?
This week, Sheetalbravon is guest-hosting this challenge and she challenges us to show a glimpse into our world – things that make our world spin or things that makes us happy.
