This picture was taken about a year ago. The leaves of the Japanese Maple tree in my front yard had started to change from green to a beautiful shade of red. Fall was beautiful last year.

This year, not so much.

The temperature fell below freezing a few nights ago and over night, my garden died – my dahlia, tomatoes, zucchini, vegetables, everything. I was so surprised when I found out. What happened to the beautiful pink and yellow dahlias that were blooming just a few days before?

The leaves from my Japanese Maple trees has not yet started changing color. I hope soon though. Crossing my fingers.
