I had to look up the color quartz despite a co-worker gave me a piece of quartz a few years ago. She told me to rub the quartz between my palms when I feel anxiety and stress and it will help calm me. I wish I have it at home instead of leaving it at the office.

So I don’t have any pictures of quartz but I think water droplets are pretty close to the color, at least according to what I found.

I was testing out a manual lens at the time – 35 mm F1.7. I have never used a manual lens before but I needed a lens with a wider aperture and when one is on a budget, manual lens was the way to go. I shot the picture above while riding the train home after work on a rainy day.
