Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #202: Minimalism/Maximalism

Sofia from Photographias is the hostess for this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge with the theme of Minimalism/Maximalism.

When I think of minimalism, I think of all the photos I’ve taken at the Bonneville Salt Flats because whether there are water or not, this place represents the definition of minimalism. I thought of using the photo from my last visit in 2020 but I think this photo represents minimalism better.

On the other end of the spectrum, despite the black background, this photo is pretty full. I took this photo last fall when my newly planted garden mums were in bloom. I hope they’ll bloom this spectacularly again this year.
