#SundayStills: All About the Funnies #Funny

This week, on #SundayStills, it’s all about the Funnies.

A bit silly for my first picture but that was what came to my mind when I saw the word “funny.” Maybe I’m just thinking about Halloween and bumped that I don’t have Halloween decoration and that my house will mostly be dark as I hide from Trick-or-Treaters that night.

I shot this photo with a point-and-shoot. It was 3 years before my current DSLR and a few months before my inherited mirrorless with a moldy sensor. Honestly, I think a point-and-shoot takes good pictures at times, depending on the time of day and light.

I remember taking this picture with maximum zoom as I walked my laps around the park. Back then, I would always have a small point-and-shoot camera in one pocket and a flip phone in another. The flip phone was useless, only for emergency because every minute and every text cost a pretty penny. These days, though, I rarely carry a point-and-shoot camera but I feel I should start again as a point-and-shoot camera has a zoom and my phone does not.

My aunt (mom’s youngest sister) has this thing, where she likes to take jumping shots. It’s weird and judging from this picture, it’s definitely a jumping shot gone wrong.

I can’t jump, you see, at least, I can’t bend my knees like normal people because of the calcifications, especially not when I’m in so many layers. It was middle of May in the Rocky Mountain region of Canada, somewhere along the way of the Icefield Parkway, I think, and judging by that thick slab of ice about to go plop, my jumping might had triggered a small quake. LOL! 😄

These last 2 pictures cracks me up. The first picture was taken in an elevator in Hong Kong. I’m guessing someone might had swapped the buttons because when has “door close” been represented by a down arrow?

I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the restroom sign. It’s still one of the most memorable picture I have collected to-date. When I think of funny, I think of these signs. This restroom sign was actually in a vegetarian buffet my aunt and I went to during my 2017 trip to China. The food was quite good despite all being vegetables. I like vegetables, after all. Why else would I have a garden?

I do wonder, why did the sign company thinks the word “restrooms” starts with a T?
