If you are unaware, the final picture (the one with the Chinese character) is of a cat cafe in China. My aunt and I ate there the night before my flight back to the US. I spent 4 months there and it was the longest I’ve ever spent in China since immigrating to the US. I can’t say I enjoyed the time though it was good to spend some time with my grandmother, who passed away in 2021. The food in that cafe was good, by the way, or maybe I was just craving Italian food after 4 months of not having any.

The picture with the flags was taken in a steak house in Banff, Canada. I have used this picture in a variety of photo challenges. What can I say? The picture suits a lot of random topics. The steak was very delicious, by the way.

The other two pictures were taken in Chicago. Honestly, I can’t really remember the black and white. All I can say is I had French toast at Eleven and it was some of the best French toast I’ve ever had.
