Christmas Road Trip Day 4

After a week of unrest caused by those dumb scammers, I finally slept without dreams or nightmares – from 7 PM to 5:30 AM. Oh, Merry Christmas to me, by the way, as it was Christmas on that day.

Christmas Road Trip Day 3

Christmas Road Trip Day 2

Day 2 was another early start as the emotional nightmares caused by the scammers continued to terrorize me, resulting in another sleepless night. My Fitbit told me I only had 4-and-a-half hours of sleep the night before and again that night. That would mean I only had about 9 hours of sleep in two days.

#SundayStills: Last Minute #Festivity

With my Christmas road trip only being 4 days away (Friday), I am as festive as I can be. I wrote I wasn’t going to put any sort of holiday decorations but in the last minute, after seeing how haunted my house looked with a flickering garage light, I decided to put up some battery-operated lights on the windows, held up by none-other-than tape. They go on and off automatically, so I won’t have to worry about a thing.

#SundayStills: The Feeling of #Peace

Living in a world where we are constantly bombarded by noise whether by electronic devices or by traffic – ground or air – and by the constant incoming of information by way of social media, there is nothing more peaceful than quiet and solitude. For me, being at peace allows not only my heartrate to calm but it also allows me to reflect on my thoughts and dive deep into thoughts and emotions I don’t normal think about.
