A Photo a Week Challenge: From the Back

Here is a picture of a duck I took a few weeks ago when I went to Silver Lake. It was interesting just sitting there in the middle of the lake watching ducks swim. I never knew ducks swam the doggy paddle with their feet. There were two ducks that swam very close to me and I got to take some portraits of them, which I will be sharing in later posts.
It was a fun trip and I hope to take another fun day trip this month since I now have my own car. I just have to decide the place.

Then, here is a self-portrait of me walking away from my camera. It was shot during my solo-road-trip to Capitol Reef National Park. I took quite a few of self-portraits during my hike of the Grand Wash Trail because otherwise, how will I get people to believe me when I say I’ve been to Capitol Reef National Park?
Anyway, I thought it’d be fun to do one where I’m walking. So I parked the camera on my trusty tripod, set a timer for 10 seconds, and just walked.
