Ever ran out of gas in your vehicle?
Not completely but I came pretty close one time a few months away. I believe there was enough gas to go about 10 more miles. Continue reading “Share Your World – 2017 Week #9” →

As I mention in the post, A Good Match, I ventured to the other side of the river on Sunday. First, I am guessing many of you are confused. River? The QiJiang (歧江) River basically runs through my hometown. My aunt calls the river, “The Stinky River”. I don’t blame her. It is pretty stinky.
Anyway, I ventured to the other side of the river on Sunday, away from the shopping centers and the giant Ferris Wheel. Maybe because the city hasn’t gotten to revitalize this side of the river yet? I am not entirely sure. The graffiti on the wall reminded me a little of the suburb in East Los Angeles where I lived for four years.

To be honest, when I sat down to write this week’s gratitude post, I couldn’t think of one thing to be grateful for this week. Nothing really happened this week. Well, my aunt finally sold her apartment and she’s been out of my hair most of the week. I guess I am grateful for that. I got to spend the time to catch up on my new followers and all the new episodes of TV shows I haven’t had a chance to watch yet. Hey, I guess I do have several things to be grateful for this week after all.

I took this photo on my recent visit to the ranch. I was searching for photographic opportunities that day since I’ve practically taken the pictures of all the flowers at the ranch. That’s when I saw this.

Despite getting bit by bugs and pecked by birds, this starfruit held on to its branch. This is one strong fruit.
