CWWC: Signs in Japan

I don’t think I’ve ever had any difficulty following signs. I’ve always loved signs. They are the most tool to point me to where I need to go. During the first few days of my recent trip to Japan, I found the signs very confusing. It often either led me to a longer route or in circles.

Nature Photo Challenge #30 – Moon

It’s ashamed I didn’t get any photo of the moon in Japan. I’m not sure it would’ve been easy with all the tall buildings and city lights. So here are some of my old moon photos.

#SundayStills: #Bridges

I love to look at any city from a high vantage point because it always amazes me to see how dense the city really. This is a look at Osaka, Japan from the Umeda Sky Building – a 140-m building in the heart of Osaka. Looking at the bridges, I was frankly surprised by how different they are.

#SundayStills: Too Soon for #Autumn

Nooooo… it’s too soon for autumn, despite autumn being one of my favorite seasons (aside from spring), where I am – in northern Utah – summer is still very much alive with 90+ degrees temperatures and no sign of autumn is approaching but who knows, these things can come with a snap of a finger. Not my fingers, Mother Nature’s.

Nature Photo Challenge #26 – Corvids

I actually learned about Corvids in a podcast a few weeks ago. Before then, I would’ve been like “What? Cor-what?” Though I still can’t tell what’s what in that family, I now have a general idea of what’s included in that family. I hope you enjoy the gallery of every Corvid I can find in my archive, and please no judging if I get one wrong.

CFFC: Things Money Can’t Buy

I am certain that no amount of money or credit card can buy moments with nature as every moment is priceless and different.

#SundayStills: Let’s #Celebrate the Garden Harvests

Despite having some failures in the garden this year like the pest infestation and my inability to grow squash, I feel this garden season has been a wonderful and successful one and as August ends and September rolls around, I have a sinking feeling I’ll have to say goodbye to the 2023 garden very soon. I can’t express gratitude enough for all that it’s given me from food to joy to admiration to other wonderful feelings. Therefore, I will dedicate this post to celebrate the garden. I hope you enjoy this photo gallery.

I agree, seedheads aren’t always the prettiest thing in the world to photograph.

CFFC: Forms and Shapes in Nature

Nature forms its own cover for its rocks and made it look like a carpet
In a way, nature knows its way to create art, like this streak of yellow through a patch of green

Finally, these are interesting looking tree trunks, aren’t they? The first image reminded me of horse’s hooves like one is raising while the other one remains on the ground. The second image makes me think of a teepee.
