The best travel experience I’ve had 2018 was definitely my solo trip to Capitol Reef National Park in September. Of course, the trip was awesome. It made me realize the freedom of solo travel. I didn’t have to sleep and wake on schedule. I could choose what to eat and where to dine. And I could stop at any turnout and any hiking trail. Continue reading “Photo of the Day!” →

I absolutely love water photography and take every chance I can get to photograph it. This picture is from my most recent trip to Bear Lake. It was my second time to visit this beautiful lake. My first time was in September. This time, I came with my mom and her friends. I was once again the navigator.
There we were standing on the beach and just as I was about to take some pictures of the water since I didn’t get many great pictures the first time, our friends decided to skip stones. He’s quite good at this.

This is his son’s attempt. His son basically picked up a big ol’ rock and threw it into the water. The rock landed with a loud plop.

When my mom called my former student’s mother, aka her friend, last Saturday, I knew this Thanksgiving would be similar to last year’s Christmas – we would be spending the day with my former student’s family. Continue reading “Which Ways to Bear Lake Again?” →
This will definitely go down as one of my most memorable views of 2018. Continue reading “Photo of the Day!” →
