The Art Institute
I love going to museums because first of all, I’m kind of a history lover and secondly, museums are quiet rich learning environments and I get to see something different every time I go. Continue reading “The Art Institute”
Two Sundays Ago…
It’s hard to believe I was in the Windy City just two Sundays ago. I can still remember that day as if it happened yesterday. I was wandering around Millennium Park searching for my group while feeling irritating and panicky. Continue reading “Two Sundays Ago…”
Food Paradise
One of the things we did most on the trip beside walking was eating. I am not complaining here. I am actually a foodie. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was like I’ve landed in food paradise. Continue reading “Food Paradise”

Salt Lake to Chicago

Disappointed…

I was so looking forward to the Super Blood Moon and the Lunar Eclipse on Sunday but I didn’t get to see it. I was so disappointed. There were too much clouds that night. I stood on my front porch, urging, “Come on, clouds, just move over one tiny inch.”
*sigh* The clouds just wouldn’t budge. The picture above was shot on Saturday night. The sky had already darken but somehow my camera kept making the pictures look so light. The ISO was automatically set to 800 and the shutter speed was exceptionally slow, 1/10 second. I even had to enter to digital zoom. That’s why everything around it is so blurry. While the clouds wouldn’t move last night, I did somehow kind of successfully captured the beginning of the eclipse. Yes, I know, I have a very sucky camera.

This is also ISO 800 but with an even slower shutter speed, 1/4 seconds. Don’t look at me, I didn’t do anything. You know the weird thing though?
About 30 miles away in Salt Lake City, people were witnessing the eclipse in perfect clarity. I watched the live footage on the news. So it looks like the clouds are just playing games with me. Ugh!
Spring to Summer to…
