Cee’s Black and White Challenge: Buildings

I’ve been meaning to participate in more photography challenges but I just couldn’t find the time to really organize my pictures. I know, excuses excuses excuses, but I’ve found the time this week to do that. So may I present my gallery of black and white building.

Share Your World – 2016 Week #1

As a child, who was your favorite relative?

Although I didn’t know her very long and very well, my favorite relative has to be my step-grandmother. She is the best grandmother I could’ve ever have.

If you could be a tree or plant, what would you be?Fantasy Forest

I am not sure. I am torn between a well-cared-for plant or a very tall tree in a preserved forest.

What would be your preference, awake before dawn or awake before noon?Party (2)

Awake before noon because then I can stay up later. Waking up before dawn means I will be tired and sleepy quicker and that means I will miss out on all the night events like concerts and parties (that might happen when I’m alone). So I think I would wake up a little later than a little earlier.

Would you like to sleep in a human size nest in a tree or be snuggled in a burrowed spot underground?

Underground, although both sounds equally uncomfortable but because I have fears of heights and falling, I think being underground would be a safer option for me. However, after doing some research of what a “burrowed spot” means, I change my mind. I would rather be dangling from a tree than lie on dirt.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am happy that last week is over. It wasn’t a good week for me. My emotions were all over the place and I wasn’t a pleasant person to deal with. School is starting again next Monday. So I am spending most of this week catching up on my TV shows and writing.

Spherical Foods

Okay, I’ll admit, when I first saw this week’s photo challenge, I didn’t really think I would have any pictures of circles but once I began searching, it turned out I have lots and most of them were of food. So may I present my gallery of spherical foods. Continue reading “Spherical Foods”

Share Your World – 2015 Week #49

What would be your ideal birthday present, and why?

I used to prefer some kind of monetary gift such as money, gift card, etc. but nowadays, I think spending a day where I’m not bothered would be good too.

What color would you like your bedroom to be?

I am horrible at choosing colors or anything. So I think instead of color, I will choose a more expensive path, have an artist to come paint a mural.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?DSC00002

No I do not prefer snowy winters because snow means there’s ice and for me, that’s a nightmare. I had a horrible experience early 2013 when the ice storm hit Utah. I almost ended up crawling to the bus stop that day after slipping on the ice numerous times that day, even wearing special boots.

Would you rather go a week without bathing, but be able to change your clothes, or a week without a change of clothes, but be able to bathe?

Can I at least wash my hair? A week without washing my hair would result in a greasy nightmare. Other than that, I think I would choose a week without bathing but I can change my clothes.

A Christmas Party

Friday night, I was at a party. It was nice and festive. There were more children than adults, the ratio of children to adult each table was about 6 to 2. In fact, our table was most likely the only table with the most adults, 6 adults and 4 children, two sat in chair while two sat on parents’ laps. Continue reading “A Christmas Party”

Transition of the Seasons

You have probably seen these before or maybe you haven’t but I think these pictures are probably the best I can do for this week’s photo challenge.

The 103rd Floor

I have a minor fear of heights. I say minor because I don’t freak out like my mom. My knees would just buckle. So when I found myself standing in line with my hotel roommate along with a few of the group members in line to board the elevator to the 103rd floor of the Willis (Sears) Tower on the afternoon of my third day in Chicago, I couldn’t help but feel nervous.
