There’s something I don’t have just lying around: blue and purple flowers. I haven’t seen a lot of those anywhere. So I have to be a little creative here. Continue reading “Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Blue or Purple Flowers”

Cee’s Black and White Challenge: Lights
I’ve learned that sometimes, black and white doesn’t look as good of a picture as it should, that sometimes I have to get creative.

Saturday
This morning started out great. I had this beautiful painting-like sunrise outside my bedroom and thought, the clouds are parting, it must mean the weather’s improving. I couldn’t be more wrong. Continue reading “Saturday”

I don’t believe in extraterrestrials Continue reading “Share Your World – 2016 Week #2”
Pink Sunset
This was the sunset a few nights ago. I saw it and couldn’t resist. I was alone so who was there to stop me? No one. Continue reading “Pink Sunset”
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Yellow or Orange Flowers
It’s interesting, I don’t think I’ve seen any orange flowers in my neighborhood. Maybe people around here don’t like orange. Oh well, at least there are yellow flowers. Continue reading “Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Yellow or Orange Flowers”
Cee’s Black and White Challenge: Buildings
I’ve been meaning to participate in more photography challenges but I just couldn’t find the time to really organize my pictures. I know, excuses excuses excuses, but I’ve found the time this week to do that. So may I present my gallery of black and white building.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: White Flowers
As a goal I have for myself in 2016, I am going to challenge myself to more challenges and this is another challenge. I am joining for the first time Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. This week, the subject is White Flowers and here’s mine.

Share Your World – 2016 Week #1
As a child, who was your favorite relative?
Although I didn’t know her very long and very well, my favorite relative has to be my step-grandmother. She is the best grandmother I could’ve ever have.
If you could be a tree or plant, what would you be?
I am not sure. I am torn between a well-cared-for plant or a very tall tree in a preserved forest.
What would be your preference, awake before dawn or awake before noon?
Awake before noon because then I can stay up later. Waking up before dawn means I will be tired and sleepy quicker and that means I will miss out on all the night events like concerts and parties (that might happen when I’m alone). So I think I would wake up a little later than a little earlier.
Would you like to sleep in a human size nest in a tree or be snuggled in a burrowed spot underground?
Underground, although both sounds equally uncomfortable but because I have fears of heights and falling, I think being underground would be a safer option for me. However, after doing some research of what a “burrowed spot” means, I change my mind. I would rather be dangling from a tree than lie on dirt.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am happy that last week is over. It wasn’t a good week for me. My emotions were all over the place and I wasn’t a pleasant person to deal with. School is starting again next Monday. So I am spending most of this week catching up on my TV shows and writing.

Spherical Foods
Okay, I’ll admit, when I first saw this week’s photo challenge, I didn’t really think I would have any pictures of circles but once I began searching, it turned out I have lots and most of them were of food. So may I present my gallery of spherical foods. Continue reading “Spherical Foods”

Out of Focus
Have you ever had a moment where you look at a picture on the tiny screen of your camera and thought, “Gee, this is such a perfect picture.” Then, when you blow the picture up on your desktop, you’re like, “What in the world!” Continue reading “Out of Focus”

Share Your World – 2015 Week #49
What would be your ideal birthday present, and why?
I used to prefer some kind of monetary gift such as money, gift card, etc. but nowadays, I think spending a day where I’m not bothered would be good too.
What color would you like your bedroom to be?

I am horrible at choosing colors or anything. So I think instead of color, I will choose a more expensive path, have an artist to come paint a mural.
Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?
No I do not prefer snowy winters because snow means there’s ice and for me, that’s a nightmare. I had a horrible experience early 2013 when the ice storm hit Utah. I almost ended up crawling to the bus stop that day after slipping on the ice numerous times that day, even wearing special boots.
Would you rather go a week without bathing, but be able to change your clothes, or a week without a change of clothes, but be able to bathe?
Can I at least wash my hair? A week without washing my hair would result in a greasy nightmare. Other than that, I think I would choose a week without bathing but I can change my clothes.

A Christmas Party
Friday night, I was at a party. It was nice and festive. There were more children than adults, the ratio of children to adult each table was about 6 to 2. In fact, our table was most likely the only table with the most adults, 6 adults and 4 children, two sat in chair while two sat on parents’ laps. Continue reading “A Christmas Party”
Transition of the Seasons
You have probably seen these before or maybe you haven’t but I think these pictures are probably the best I can do for this week’s photo challenge.

…and here is how the mountain look at the moment.
