Continue reading “Share Your World – 2015 Week #50” →It’s been snowing here for last 24 hours and it’s beginning to look more like winter. It’s been a while since we had so much snow here. Continue reading “Winter Wonderland” →

What would be your ideal birthday present, and why?
I used to prefer some kind of monetary gift such as money, gift card, etc. but nowadays, I think spending a day where I’m not bothered would be good too.
What color would you like your bedroom to be?

I am horrible at choosing colors or anything. So I think instead of color, I will choose a more expensive path, have an artist to come paint a mural.
Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?
No I do not prefer snowy winters because snow means there’s ice and for me, that’s a nightmare. I had a horrible experience early 2013 when the ice storm hit Utah. I almost ended up crawling to the bus stop that day after slipping on the ice numerous times that day, even wearing special boots.
Would you rather go a week without bathing, but be able to change your clothes, or a week without a change of clothes, but be able to bathe?
Can I at least wash my hair? A week without washing my hair would result in a greasy nightmare. Other than that, I think I would choose a week without bathing but I can change my clothes.

You have probably seen these before or maybe you haven’t but I think these pictures are probably the best I can do for this week’s photo challenge.

…and here is how the mountain look at the moment.

It’s hard to believe I was in the Windy City just two Sundays ago. I can still remember that day as if it happened yesterday. I was wandering around Millennium Park searching for my group while feeling irritating and panicky. Continue reading “Two Sundays Ago…” →
I hope you’ve noticed the change of colors from orange to white. That’s because it snowed today. It’s the first snow of the season. Sorry about the picture, by the way. I snapped it in the moment. Continue reading “First Snow” →
So yesterday, I took my first solo trip (first time without mom by my side) and I must say, it feels different. There is a degree of freedom I’ve never thought I’d feel. Continue reading “Salt Lake to Chicago” →

“Go to your happy place,” I hear people say that when someone’s frightened or nervous about an upcoming event. The anesthesiologist said that to me right before he put me under the gas a few years ago when I had my oral surgery. Continue reading “My Happy Place” →
