I have been wondering when I will get the chance to showcase some of the rock pictures I took on my last solo hiking expedition. However, black and white rocks make boring pictures, so I opted for the selective colors approach. Hope you like my choices. Continue reading “Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge – Rocks” →

For this week’s challenge, the topic is yellow. I have thought about posting pictures of food but it feels a little repetitive since others had already posted all kinds of yellow foods. Therefore, I’m sticking with flowers and landscapes. Hope you enjoy my selection. Continue reading “Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Yellow” →

Yesterday, September 22, 2016, my neck of the woods was hit with a hurricane-force wind storm. It’s been almost 4 years since the last one but this storm was accompanied with heavy rain. It was a pretty major storm. A tornado even touched down about 10 miles away, damaging two neighboring communities. Tornadoes are super rare here, maybe once every few centuries or so.
