It’s been a while since I last took macro photos and yesterday, I finally got to take some when I visited some ponds in the next town over. The ponds were beautiful but frozen. I’ll have to go back when it thaws. I will post some of the landscapes I took in another post.


This interesting perspective photo definitely made it into my top 5 favorite photos taken during my recent road trip. It was through this photo I finally learned what my circular polarizing lens does. Since then, I’ve been using it all the time, along with my camera hood which I would discover its usage during my trip to Bear Lake.
This photo was taken at the Petroglyphs, by the way, a wall full of carvings made by the Fremont people. Today, we call them vandalism but back then, there’s no law against vandalism.
