Creative, not Technical

Okay, I officially admit it, blogging and writing fiction has made me a creative writer, not a technical writer. Continue reading “Creative, not Technical”

Reminiscence of a Childhood Place

One of the disadvantages of moving multiple times during childhood is just as you’re beginning to grow attached to a place, you have to pack your bags and move again. That’s why I don’t have a place from my past that I’m fond of.  Continue reading “Reminiscence of a Childhood Place”

Random Thoughts About Writing

114-07-july-26th-2015Writing’s an art, in my opinion but this wasn’t what I thought until about two years ago.  Before that, my relationship with writing was merely obligatory, just a requirement to fulfill a task assigned by teachers, tutors, etc. Continue reading “Random Thoughts About Writing”

To Overcome a Fear

thinking-will-not-overcome-fear-but-action-will-action-quoteEverybody have fears in them and sometimes it may be silly, serious, small, or large.  Fear lives within everyone.  However, if you try hard enough to conquer those fears, you can ultimately become fearless.  Continue reading “To Overcome a Fear”

Blogging Recognition and Advice

First of all, I must say that I am lazy when it comes to award posts. I like to do them in bulk, combine several awards at a time and I think this is bulk enough for me. This last week, I’ve been nominated for the same award by not one but three bloggers, Little Calico’s Journal, Jordan from Call Me Incorrigible, and Norma from Emovere. Continue reading “Blogging Recognition and Advice”

Connected to Something

I haven’t really been out lately, mostly just stuck in the basement. The weather hasn’t been cooperating. It’s either too hot or too cold or too windy or too rainy. It’s like it’s playing a big game. So no new pictures but good news, I’m heading to Las Vegas in two weeks, yay!

So plenty of opportunities there. I’m looking forward to gambling and earning 5 extra credit points for my auditing class for doing something fun (No, I’m not kidding about the 5 points). The instructor apparently thinks we’re too tight and need to loosen up.

It’s the first time I’m going to Vegas since I turned 21 three years ago.

Anyway, I know that’s not what you’re here for, so let’s get this show on the road.

I know some of you have seen this picture before. I debuted it way back in June. Like I said, no new pictures.
