“Smile at the camera, guys!” Julio stared into the camera with a wide smile while Aisha and Clarity were curiously looking down at something else. I could say that after a round of face-painting and painting, the children had fun. “What are you girls looking at?” I asked. Aisha held up her work proudly.
“Wow!” I complimented. It was a picture made entirely of glitter, from the sparkly silver moon to the dark blue water, beautifully depicted. “Hold it up, Aisha.” She did and I snapped a picture. “It is wonderful, Aisha.” I took the picture and pinned it on the classroom wall, “and I think it belongs here where everyone can see.”








She stood at the edge of the pond.
